Priya Singh is a licencesed Clinical Psychologist & founder of Jijivishaa. She completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (2018-2020) from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. She has been extensively trained in various forms of psychological assessments and psychotherapy including individual therapy and family therapy. She holds a keen interest in and has undergone additional extensive training in psychodynamic approach. She is well versed with the online mode of therapy, having clocked over 2000 hours of online sessions over past 2 years.
She has expertise in providing therapy to clients with a wide spectrum of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, adjustment, trauma, relationship issues and behavioural problems in children. She has experience in handling clients from all age groups. She is an expert in managing clients with excessive internet use/online gaming and has published over 30 research papers in this area.
Her approach utilizes empathetic and a non-judgemental attitude to create a safe space for clients. As a therapist, she incorporates individual centric and strength-based practices to provide holistic intervention, while abiding by the highest ethical principles.
Usha Krishnia is a certified Yoga Instructor and co-founder of Jijivishaa. She started her journey as a student in year 1999. Her keen interest in Yoga developed after experiencing the positive transformation in herself. She has travelled across India to learn Yoga and Meditation.
She started her professional journey in the year 2004 with a three-month certificate program in Yoga from Yoga Sadhana Aashram, Jaipur. Followed by a course titled Doctor of Naturopathy and Doctor Yoga from Aarogya Mandir, Gorakhpur in 2004.
Along with a central government job and a family of two children it was not easy for her to travel very frequently as online courses were not available. She took a break of 6 years from enrolling her into new courses. However, she kept the interest ongoing by taking yoga classes, giving workshops and self reading. In 2012, she again enrolled her into a Diploma course in Naturapathy and Yogic sciences from Akhil Bhartiya Prakritik Chikitsa Parisad, New Delhi. She has also attended various workshops out of which one was under the guidance of Shri OP Tiwari at Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala, Pune. She was also an intern under Swami Dr. Mangalteertham Saraswati (an international yoga scientist and ex Dean & Professor Bihar Yoga Bharti, Munger, Bihar).

The video of the flower, non-verbally explains the verbal meaning of the word Jijivisha. The blooming and withering of the flower signifies crest and trough of one's life. Reblooming of it explains that with the aid of the healer one comes to know about ones inner resilience.
Jijivishaa, a center for psychological services, was founded with the vision to provide the best mental health care services to everyone. We not only take care of an individual but also community as a whole by sensitizing them towards mental health issues.
